The speaker of the 11 Parliament Rt.Hon.Anita Among has shown solidarity after hitting her official x platform to mourn singer Evelyn Lagu,who passed on today morning.
Among rated the late as a hard working lady who wanted to see ends meet and will be missed by many.
“The country has worken up to the devastating news of the passing of Evelyn Lagu, who was a singer and actress.
I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to the family relatives, friends and the entire entertainment industry during this difficult time many her soul rest in peace”.

Actress and singer Evelyn Nakabira alias Evelyn love or Evelyn Lagu passed away to day 18 September 2023 at her home in Nabugabo.
Reports indicate that she succumbed to haert and kidney complication.

“On a very sad note,Evelyn Love has passed on”,Lagu’s Facebook page also read this morning,Monday September 18 at the time of her passing,Lagu was preparing a charity concert tittled Evelyn Love live in makindye,a city suburb,on October 28,2023.
lagu also ventured in movie acting under a company known as zubairi family,where she was a member.
The singer had been battling kidney and heart problems for a year in June 2021 she to process condnt be done because of her health condition the doctors advised her to come back to Uganda to get medication and advice her to go back when her health improves,but it never changed.
