Key figures from the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and other dignitaries have assembled at the NRM headquarters in Nakasero to honor the life and service of Hon. Simon Peter Aleper, the NRM Vice Chairman for Karamoja Region.

H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who serves as the NRM National Chairman, arrived at the NRM headquarters this morning to pay tribute to the late Hon. Aleper. Upon his arrival, President Museveni laid a wreath on the casket bearing Aleper’s body and recorded his condolences in the sympathy book.
