NGORA: 11.8.2024
In a gesture that has resonated deeply with the faithful, Ngora County MP Juliet Achayo Lodou has once again demonstrated her commitment to the spiritual and infrastructural development of her constituency.
During a heartwarming groundbreaking ceremony to mark the commencement of construction at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Achayo’s donation of 100 bags of cement plus a top up of 1m shillings, left the community in a celebratory mood, reflecting her enduring dedication to the people she serves.
The ceremony, which was marked by a sense of unity and purpose, saw Christians gather in large numbers to witness this significant milestone in their church’s history.
The atmosphere was filled with hope and gratitude as Fr. Denis Asima, the parish priest of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, received the donation on behalf of the congregation.
In his address, Fr. Asima lauded Achayo for her consistent support of church-related developments, emphasizing the importance of standing by leaders whose vision includes  upliftment of spiritual institutions.
“Leaders like Hon. Achayo, who understand the role of the church in the community, are a blessing to us,” Fr. Asima remarked.
“Her contribution today is not just about bricks and mortar, but about building a legacy of faith and community cohesion. It is providential that the people of Ngora have such a leader, and it is my prayer that she continues to serve us in the legislative assembly for the greater good of our district.”
Achayo, who has always championed the cause of development across Ngora, addressed the congregation with humility and sincerity.
She urged the worshippers to continue supporting the work of God, emphasizing that such acts of faith and generosity are a sure path to tapping into God’s blessings.
Her words were not just a call to action but a reflection of her own belief in the power of faith-driven initiatives.
The local community, moved by her kind-heartedness, echoed the sentiments of their parish priest.
Many expressed their determination to support Achayo in her political journey, recognizing that her leadership goes beyond politics—it is about creating a better future for all.
As the day came to a close, the overwhelming consensus among the worshippers was clear: Juliet Achayo Lodou is a leader worth backing, not just for her tangible contributions but for the spirit of compassion and commitment she embodies.
As Ngora looks toward the future, the people remain steadfast in their belief that with leaders like Achayo, their hopes for progress and prosperity are well-founded.
The groundbreaking at St. Henry’s Catholic Church is more than just the beginning of a new structure; it is a testament to the power of leadership grounded in faith and service.
