Kalaki,Uganda- In a friendly match that will be etched in the memories of football fans in Kalaki District for a long time, Usuk FC delivered a resounding 5-0 victory over Kamidakan FC, leaving the opposing team scoreless and demoralized. This was the first meeting between the two teams, and Usuk FC’s triumph marked Kamidakan FC’s worst home defeat in their history.
The highly anticipated match, attended by nearly 1000 fans at the Kamidakan FC playground, saw Usuk FC put on a masterclass performance, with their goals scored by Ojirot, Onyamboro (Amodoi), Okure James, Olaki, and Iisa Ema (Degea), who converted a spot kick for the fifth goal after being fouled inside the 18-yard box.
Kamidakan FC’s coach, visibly disappointed but gracious in defeat, acknowledged that his team was outmatched by the current Toto Alupo Cup champions, dubbed the “Ecomai eaters.” The senior fans of Kamidakan FC accepted defeat but promised a strong comeback in the return leg, vowing to redeem themselves and restore pride for their district.
Meanwhile, Kalaki Parish FC’s senior and junior teams are gearing up to face Usuk FC in a revenge match in two weeks, seeking to avenge their brothers’ defeat. The highly anticipated encounter will take place at the Usuk Boys playground, with the exact date yet to be confirmed.
