In a lively ceremony at Aukot Apeti Sub County, Hon. Dan Rock Magodesi, a prominent figure in Tororo Municipal Council and Ejoku Stephen’s chief whip, celebrated his marriage. The event was marked by a focus on NRM’s core principles of social and economic transformation. Ejoku Stephen, representing the NRM and leading the Teso Youth Development Association (TEYODA), took the opportunity to deliver President Museveni’s vision of unity and development.
During the ceremony, Mr. Ejoku presented a cow to the newlyweds, a gesture of goodwill that was warmly received. His Royal Highness Papa Emorimori, praised Ejoku’s leadership, highlighting his hard work and dedication. Emorimori noted that Ejoku’s practical approach to implementing President Museveni’s call for socio-economic transformation is evident in his consistent efforts, from delivering a cow in Arapai to his current activities in Tororo. Emorimori lauded Ejoku as a “son of Teso,” emphasizing that Teso needs leaders who serve their people equitably. He credited Ejoku for his instrumental role in the coronation process, reflecting his tireless commitment to the community.
Ejoku Stephen’s bid for the LC5 seat in Soroti comes at a time when the position has been vacant following the previous incumbent’s move to Dakabela.His leadership through TEYODA’s SACCO program, where he served as President for the Teso Sub Region, showcases his efforts to youth empowerment and economic growth. With strong backing from his team, including Hon. Faith Abugo and Hon. Asekeny Everlin, Ejoku is poised to lead Soroti into a prosperous future, aligning closely with NRM’s agenda for economic transformation in Teso.
