The Prime Minister of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, officially closed the 2024 Mbale Industrial Park BUBU Trade Show and Bazaar this afternoon on behalf of President Museveni. The event was organized by the Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the Sino-Uganda Industrial Park.
Upon her arrival, the Prime Minister was received by Paul Zang, the Chairman of the Sino-Uganda Industrial Park, Mbale.
During a guided tour of the Industrial Park, the Premier expressed her appreciation for the Sino-Uganda group’s contribution to youth employment and the promotion of the Buy Uganda, Build Uganda (BUBU) policy.
She was accompanied by Hon. Evelyn Anite, State Minister for Investment; Hon. Namboozo Florence, State Minister for Karamoja; Hon. Sidronius Okaasai Opolot, State Minister for Energy; as well as area MPs and local leaders.
The trade show featured over 40 factories from the park, showcasing discounted products in food processing, construction, textiles, car parts, and electronics, offering an opportunity to connect with potential customers.
