Amudat, Uganda – Honorable Betty Chelain, Member of Parliament for Amudat District, has reinforced her dedication to fostering tribal unity and collaborative growth. At a recent gathering, she underscored the importance of inclusivity and shared progress.
Celebrating Amudat’s diverse tribal communities, Hon. Chelain highlighted the unique strengths each group brings to the district. “Our differences make us stronger,” she remarked. The event convened representatives from the Pokot, Karimojong, and other tribes, all committed to a common goal.
In her address, Hon. Chelain encouraged open dialogue and cooperation, pointing to the shared benefits of knowledge and resources. Amudat District has recently advanced in education, healthcare, and infrastructure—progress she attributed to strong community collaboration.
She urged attendees to continue building bridges between tribes, fostering mutual respect and understanding. “Together, we can achieve greatness,” she concluded, leaving participants inspired by her leadership.
