JERUSALEM: The Government Chief Whip, Denis Hamson Obua on Monday addressed the 20th All Nations Global Christian Government Leaders Summit 2023 in the Israeli holy city of Jerusalem.
Obua, who led a delegation of Christian Government leaders from Uganda, is representing the Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among at the annual convocation that draws Christian leaders from all over the world.
“As a team of Christian Government Leaders from the Republic of Uganda, we bring y warm greetings from Uganda and specifically from the Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among who was invited officially for this Summit but constituted this team from the Parliament of Uganda and delegated me to represent her and lead the team,” said Obua.
While presenting a prayer request on behalf of team Uganda, Obua thanked God for peace and stability in Uganda.
“I sincerely thank God for the peace and stability that Uganda has enjoyed for decades and continues to enjoy under the stewardship of God’s servant, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni,” said Obua.
Adding: “Political stability enthused socio-economic transformation and improved the standards of living of the children of God in Uganda.”
The Government Chief Whip prayed for the leaders of the three arms of Government in Uganda and all leaders God charged with the responsibility of superintending over his people.
He lauded the historical and the continuous good diplomatic ties between Uganda and Israel.
