Ateker International Development Organization (AIDO), in collaboration with the Global African Diaspora Kingdom and Iteso Cultural Union have Commissioned a solar project in Serere Health Center IV in Uganda.
The Royals were touched by the deplorable state of the health center during their first visit to Serere and promised to return to install solar lights to aid the hospital operations.
The solar lights were sourced and installed by Kimina Enterprises Ltd and commisoned on the 17th by HRH Emorimor of Iteso, Papa Sande Emolot.
“We can’t thank AIDO enough for bringing development to Teso and for leading in the reconnection campaign, which has yielded so much especially for the community I lead,” the Emorimor said.
The project came as a result of the Global Africa diaspora reconnection agenda facilitated by AIDO Network International under the leadership of H.H Paul Jones Eganda aiming at bringing together Africa and her diasporans.
The diaspora royal delegation visited the maternity ward and showered the newborns with gifts and love.
“I know we can’t solve all their problems, but i am so glad there is something we can do,” said Dr. ChenziRa Davis-Kahina, a professor from the Virgin Islands of America.
The royal delegation included Queen Asianut Acom II from the CARICOM Secretariat , Princess Jenny Gamachana from the US , Chief Arley Gill Sarimbi from Granada and H.H Paul Jones Eganda later donated asorted hospital supplies to the hospital in charge.
