The Queen Mother of Teso Chiefdom has embarked on her mission of teaching the girls of her land on how to decently dress and conduct themselves in Public.
Juliet Among Akaliait is the only wife to the Iteso Paramount Chief Emorimor Paul Sande Emolot Etomeileng the Third paramount Chief of the Iteso Cultural Union.
Among acknowledged the importance of descent dressing as a credible norm in the Iteso culture, and this she said needs to be taken seriously by all the women of her great land.
Speaking to the Patriots on Friday Morning, the queen announced an urgent need for the entire population to retrieve the cultural values of Iteso especially the dress code puts forward the Identity of the wise men from the east.
“our culture is being robbed by the western world, this is evident by the immoral dressing that the ladies have embraced today”, she said.
Adding, “It is through this background that i have decided to spearhead the robust campaign to change the society make Teso proud of it’s culture again”.
This comes Just two weeks after she celebrated the one year’s anniversary of being the queen since June 2022 when Paul Sande Emolot was installed as the Third Paramount Chief of Iteso.
