On Tuesday Morning, Teso and the entire country men were in absolute shock having learnt about the demise of the COU Kumi Emeritus Bishop Edison Thomas Irigei.
According to the Kumi Diocesan Secretary Rev. Simon Peter Omoding, Irigei had been hospitalized at Soroti Regional Referral Hospital since Wednesday last week till Tuesday where passed on at early Midnight.
Irigei the First Bishop of Kumi Diocese faced difficulty in breathing till he passed on, close family members disclosed to the Patriots online.
The fallen Bishop retired in 2019 after clocking 65 years.
His body shall be laid to rest at St. Philips Church Of Uganda Ngora on Friday next week according to the tentative arrangements.
