Stephen Ejoku, the CEO of Ejoku Foundation and a hopeful candidate for the LCV position in Soroti district in 2026 under the NRM ticket, has urged incoming political aspirants to refrain from engaging in political conflicts. He emphasized that such conflicts do not serve the interests of the people.
Ejoku’s plea comes in light of the provocative language and ideologies exhibited by some aspiring candidates, particularly during gatherings such as funerals. He argued that such behavior does not benefit the local community, as these arguments lack productive ideas for development and transparent service delivery.
According to Ejoku, fostering peace and unity among political aspirants is crucial for effective governance. He believes that cooperation and teamwork among elected officials contribute significantly to delivering quality services to the people.
Ejoku made these remarks at the burial of Toto Akopo Dinah from Agaya Village, Agirigiroi Parish, Arapai subcounty in Dakabela county, Soroti district.
With his eyes set on the LCV seat in the upcoming elections, Stephen Ejoku emphasizes the importance of political harmony for the progress and development of Soroti district.
