Today, the 11th day of June 2024, Ogwang Obura showcased his commitment to community upliftment and National Resistance Movement (NRM) solidarity through a series of transformative activities in Minakulu Town Council.
While at his backyard, Obura visited the under-construction Obanga Atwero PAG Church, making a strategic donation towards the on going construction and pledging to repair a vital local borehole that serves the community and its neighbors. This act underlined his dedication to bolstering community infrastructure. During his visit, Pastors from PAG Minakulu, Kiriandong, and Dicon Kamdini assemblies gave their blessings to Hon. Patrick Ogwang Obura, recognizing his efforts and support for the church construction.
At the solemn burial of NRM stalwart Mr. Ongada Alfred in Akaidebe Cell, Okule Ward, Obura’s provision of the casket signified his profound respect for loyal party members and their enduring legacy. He also delivered a powerful message from the NRM Secretary General, accompanied by a substantial donation to the course, and galvanized the crowd with NRM flags and T-shirts, reinforcing the party’s grassroots mobilization and solidarity.
Ogwang Obura’s initiatives exemplified a tactical fusion of addressing community needs and fortifying party allegiance. His actions cultivated trust and robust support within the NRM’s grassroots base, amplifying the party’s influence and responsiveness across Uganda. This dynamic approach ensured that the NRM remained deeply connected to and actively supportive of its members.
Following the burial, Obura visited the Amwa Lwala PAG Minakulu East assembly, where he made another significant contribution towards the construction of the church.
He was then asked to kneel for a blessing from the church pastors, further cementing his relationship with the local religious community.
