Team Ariko 4Gweri has initiated a pivotal community assistance program, adeptly responding to urgent requisitions across Gweri’s multifarious villages. Addressing the imperative of borehole protection and restoration, this comprehensive project spans multiple sub-counties, embodying an integrative approach to local development.
In Aukot sub-county, villages such as Osuguro and Achaboi have been endowed with vital cement for the construction of robust protective enclosures around boreholes. This strategic intervention ensures the durability and resilience of these water sources against contamination and structural deterioration.
Similarly, in Abelet parish of Gweri sub-county, communities in villages including Obuletera, Moruapesur, Acuma, and Owokai have been supplied with essential pipes and rods required for extensive borehole repairs. This critical intervention is anticipated to rejuvenate the local water supply systems, thereby securing unimpeded access to potable water for the residents.
Extending their impact further, Team Ariko 4Gweri has provided indispensable support to the villages of Atogwang and Damasiko in Damasiko parish, Awaliwal sub-county. By addressing acute water scarcity issues and fortifying local infrastructure, these efforts significantly enhance community health and resilience.
This initiative underscores Team Ariko 4Gweri’s steadfast commitment to sustainable development and community empowerment, setting a precedent for effective grassroots interventions. As these villages utilize the allocated resources, the expected transformation in water supply systems will epitomize the profound impact of such strategic community support initiatives. Team Ariko 4Gweri’s proactive approach ensures enduring benefits, guaranteeing sustained access to clean and safe water for all Gweri residents.
