Gweri, June 16, 2024: Richard Elimu, runner-up in the previous Gweri County MP elections, conveyed heartfelt Eid wishes to the Muslim community in Teso, focusing on Gweri. Emphasizing Eid’s significance, Elimu highlighted the importance of reflection, gratitude, and unity. “Eid is a celebration that embodies the spirit of sharing and caring for one another,” he remarked, urging the community to uphold these values during the festivities and in daily life.
Elimu stressed Eid’s strongholds, stating, “This period reminds us of the strength in togetherness and the joy in sharing with those around us.” He encouraged everyone to partake in the celebrations with compassion and generosity.
