Julius Enyalu, a seasoned political activist, emerged from a humble background as the son of a peasant rice farmer in Gweri. His journey has been one of resilience, dedication, and a profound commitment to the service of his community and nation.
Known as the “civilian General,” Enyalu’s patriotic ambitions and unyielding persistence define his legacy. His ideological clarity and steadfastness have earned him recognition as a true diplomat with a deep passion for uplifting his people. In 2016, when Hon. Jessica Alupo Epel faced a political setback, many in Teso doubted her political future. However, Enyalu stood firm, supporting and encouraging her when others turned away, demonstrating loyalty and resilience during a challenging time.
Enyalu’s career is marked by diligence and a strong work ethic. Before his current role as Assistant Resident City Commissioner (RCC) of Soroti, he served with distinction as a political mobilizer in the State House under the Office of the Vice President. Additionally, he contributed as a regional coordinator for the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) in Teso. These roles showcased his ability to mobilize communities, instill patriotism, and monitor government programs effectively.
Julius Enyalu’s commitment to his work and the NRM’s vision has been heroic. His track record reflects a high level of dedication, making him an asset to both his community and the nation at large. His new appointment as Assistant RCC provides an opportunity for him to further advance mobilization, promote patriotism, and ensure the effective implementation of government programs.
