Soroti: Whereas Ugandan citizens had earlier raised controversy surrounding president Museveni’s appointment of assistant Resident City Commissioners country wide citing that the appointments would strain the country’s budget, a section of citizens including the opposition members of parliament have rallied the president’s initiative.
In Soroti city, traders and top leaders have voiced their concerns over the particular person of Mr. Enyalu Julius asking the president to promote him.
Enyalu was on April. 2 .2024, appointed by the president as Assistand RDC Soroti, and has been praised by the city occupants for his consistency in ensuring peace and trade order through peaceful engagements.
The Soroti City woman member of parliament Joan Acom Alobo who spoke to this news channel said that recommended the president to promote those hard working Assistant RDCs to the ranks of deputies and full RDCs, one of them being Mr. Enyalu Julius of Soroti.
Speaking, “Ugandans today need to work with peaceful people, who understand the situation of citizens, I am personally pleased with the performance of Mr. Enyalu and as the president to promote him as RCC Soroti if possible”.
Peter Omoding, a business man at the Soroti central market said that he is confident in Mr. Enyalu.
“I got to know Mr. Enyalu when he held a meeting with the Market vendors who wanted to demonstrate over power outage in the market”, he mentioned.
Enyalu’s connection with people has earned him a trademark in his service and now works as a neutralizer.
Before his appointment as the Assistant Resident City Commissioner Soroti, Mr. Enyalu worked as the regional coordinator office of the National Chairman of the National Resistance Movement, and later the political mobilizer at state House where he plaid a critical role in mobilizing the youth to flock with president Yoweri Museveni.
