A section of farmers under their umbrella of Teso Tropical Fruit Growers Cooperative (TEFGCO), have expressed disappointment to their legislators of Teso Parliamentary group (TPG), for ignoring the Fruit Factory meant to benefit their own communities. The money accrued from illegal charges imposed by the bank and other scrupulous people. AMURIA. Amuria District has approved a supplementary budget of 4.3 billion shillings. The supplementary budget now pushes Amuria district budget for FY 2023/24 to 34 billion. In May, the Council approved a budget of 29.7 billion shillings. The supplementary budget was presented by the secretary for Finance Kokas Erusu in a council meeting presided by Charles Otim, the district speaker.
