Soroti Secondary School played host to the official opening ceremony of the CAF C Coaching Course, marking a significant milestone in the development of football coaching standards in Uganda.
The event was graced by FUFA Executive Committee Member in charge of Women’s Football, Madam Agnes Mugena, who underscored the vital role of coaching education in advancing football development.
Renowned CAF Instructor Ben Mwesigwa is leading the course, assisted by FUFA Instructor John Michael Erebu and other seasoned instructors. The program has attracted 30 participants from across the country and beyond, reflecting a growing commitment to football excellence.
This initiative aligns with FUFA’s broader objective of enhancing technical expertise among coaches, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to nurture talent at all levels.
The two-month course will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of modern football, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the game.
