Dr. Kedrace Turyagyenda, Permanent Secretary Minister of Education and Sport, has urged graduates to harness their knowledge and skills to drive development and address community challenges. Speaking at the 11th graduation ceremony of All Saints University Lango on February 20th, 2025, Dr. Turyagyenda emphasized the importance of using education to solve real-world problems.
He reminded graduates that society expects them to be ambassadors of their education, using their skills to make a positive impact. Dr. Turyagyenda also advised graduates to uphold integrity and exhibit discipline in their professional pursuits.
Professor Alfred Olwa, Chancellor of All Saints University Lango, encouraged graduates to view their graduation as the beginning of their professional journey, rather than the end of their education. He urged them to embrace discipline, integrity, and community service to become better professionals.
Chairperson Council Mr. Francise Peter Ojede encouraged graduates to lead a Christian lifestyle and adhere to workplace rules to succeed. He also appealed to the government to sponsor more students and fund projects at All Saints University Lango.
Dr. Turyagyenda’s message emphasized the importance of education in driving development and addressing community challenges. The graduates were encouraged to use their knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in their communities.
