The political, technical, clergies and the general public on Thursday 25-1-2024 gathered in Nyadri south Sub-county, Maracha District to launch Driwaru Jennifer Foundation, a local Community Based Organization (CBO) established in the District.
The components offered by the CBO, Driwaru Jennifer Foundation are; Chairs, Tents and Technical school which trains people on tailoring, welding and metal fabrication, salon and hairdressing, building, bricklaying and concrete practice, graphics design, art and craft among others in order to uplift the life of the vulnerable and needy people in Maracha District.
While referring to some people who start avoiding others after climbing some steps in life, the main celebrant of the function who doubles as the Simbili Parish Priest, Fr Moses Abidrabo wondered if such people are generous and kind to humanity.
He termed the institution established by the Woman MP, as a foundation of humanity.

The area MP for Maracha East constituency, Hon Ruth Lematia Molly Ondoru upon saying voting in politics is not determined by the physical appearance of someone, urged people to continue supporting Hon Driwaru Jennifer so that she can deliver more services and developments to the district.

Koliba Monica Kotevu, the deputy resident district commissioner for Maracha District who was also the Guest of Honor for the function, rallied the public to support this program instituted by the Woman MP.

This Foundation became the first organization established by an incumbent MP, to help the vulnerable people in the social and political history of Maracha District.
