The National Resistance Movement (NRM) National Vice Chairperson in charge of Eastern Region, Hon. David Calvin Echodu, has asked President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to fulfill the pledge of supporting Arrow Boys who fought LRA rebels in 2003.
Addressing thousands of NRM supporters at Kalaki Secondary School in Kalaki District, Echodu said, “Arrow Boys deserve our gratitude and support for their bravery in fighting LRA rebels.” He noted that the Arrow Boys did a great job in helping government soldiers chase away LRA rebels who had attacked the people of Teso at that time.

Echodu also assured the people of Kalaki that the NRM government under President Museveni’s leadership will work on the Katine-Kalaki-Kaberamaido-Ochero road, and works will soon start. “This road will be worked on in the near future, and government has already put plans for it,” Echodu said. “We shall continue pushing for more development in this region, and President Museveni will win overwhelmingly in the forthcoming general elections.”
As the Vice Chairperson of the region, Echodu noted that he is already mobilizing for the party and the President to ensure a landslide victory in the upcoming general elections. “With me in CEC, we shall continue pushing for more things for this region,” Echodu said.
