His Royal Highness Paul Sande Etomeileng Emolot, the Emorimor, has arrived in Usuk, greeted with enthusiasm and elation by his subjects.
The anticipation for his presence was palpable, and the dark clouds hovering overhead were seen as a divine blessing, signaling his importance to the community.
The Emorimor’s entrance coincided with a miraculous change in weather, as the skies darkened and rain threatened, leading many to call him the “Man of Rain.”
This symbolic arrival sets the stage for a momentous meeting taking place at Awojabule Primary School, where clan leaders, elders, women, and youth have gathered to engage with their leader.
Andrew Ocole, the Prime Minister of the Iteso Cultural Union, underscored the significance of this meeting, stating that the Paramount Chief is on a dedicated mission to serve his people, beginning with essential grassroots consultations.
“This meeting aims at uniting the Iteso at the clan level, mobilizing resources towards the construction of the Iteso Palace, creating cultural awareness, and promoting economic transformation,” Ocole asserted.
This gathering also comes during a critical time when the Iteso Cultural Union is actively seeking resources for the construction of the Iteso Palace, reinforcing the community’s commitment to preserving and promoting their rich cultural heritage.
The collective effort symbolizes a movement towards progress and unity within the Iteso community, as they work together to enhance their cultural identity and foster economic development.
