The resumption of grassroots tours by His Highness Paul Sande Emolot Etomeileng, the Paramount Chief of Teso, marks an important initiative for community engagement and development in the region.
Starting on February 19, 2025, in Amuria District, the tours aim to foster direct interactions between the Chief and his subjects.
Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Andrew Ocole emphasized the tour’s focus on several critical areas, including clan registration, educational initiatives, resource mobilization for palace construction, and governance.
The ongoing program, which began in Katakwi District, seeks to enhance communication and collaboration within the community, addressing key challenges while promoting peace and unity among clans.
“Papa Emorimor will be Visiting Amuria starting on Wednesday 19th February 2025 in Orungo Town Council, Thursday 20th February 2025 and later conclude with Amolo Sub County on Friday 21st February 2025 as all activities begin at 9:00am”, he stated.
Ocole highlighted the importance of these engagements in stabilizing administrative roles and reducing disputes, ultimately paving the way for transformation and progress in Teso.
The initiative reflects a commitment to listening to the community’s needs and building a collaborative environment for development.
