The incident happened in Aburepoli village, swagere parish in Ochero sub county Kaberamaido District on Tuesday.
It is reported that Mr Brain Eyoku the Suspect took the advantage of the absence of the parents of the minor and convinced her with 100 shilling and later defiled the 4 year old girl.
The DPC Kaberamaido Central police station SP David Otabong confirmed the arrest of Mr Eyoku saying that he is under their custody pending investigation to the matter, he also added that police are investigating the health status of the suspect and the one of the minor, there after the file will be forwarded to State Attorney for prosecution to commence.
” he will be produced in courts of law once all the necessary information needed is provided, he is now waiting to appear in courts of law any time after the file is done to answer charges of aggravated defilement.” he said.
“I want to therefore caution the parents to have respect for the children because they are the future leaders and people should not exploit our children to engage them into sexual acts.” he added.
