January 1st, 2025, marked a joyous celebration as Hajjat Medina Naham Ojale, the Director of Finance and Administration for the National Resistance Movement (NRM), joined forces with the Koboko District Religious Leaders, security team headed by the RDC, Koboko District political leaders, UPDF leadership headed by Lieutenant Canon Nathan, and other esteemed guests to usher in the New Year.
The event, held at Hajjat Medina’s residence, was attended by a diverse group of people, including Elders, relatives, friends, and companions from within Koboko and beyond. The celebration featured performances by renowned comedy dons Man Patto, Ziggy Zagga, Franko of Koboko, and the legendary Yoo Leng hitmaker, Romeo Odong, and his band.
In her address, Hajjat Medina expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who honored her invitation. She applauded the religious leaders for their prayers and acknowledged the gift of a new year and life, recognizing that many people did not make it to 2025.
Hajjat Medina emphasized the importance of unity, citing it as the cornerstone of every thriving community. She urged the community to come together, overcome challenges, and live in peace and harmony. Through the security team, she expressed gratitude to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the sustained security, peace, and unity the country has enjoyed under his leadership.
Hajjat Medina also seized the opportunity to rally support for the National Resistance Movement (NRM) as the country approaches the election period. She appealed to the security team to maintain peace and avoid opposition confusion in West Nile.
The celebration was a testament to Hajjat Medina’s commitment to her community and her role as a leader in promoting unity and development. As the NRM Director of Finance and Administration, she has consistently demonstrated her dedication to the party’s ideals and her efforts to empower communities across Uganda ¹ ² ³.
