    The Terego District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon Obigah Rose has on Saturday 1-February-2025, donated 2 set of sports uniforms to two football clubs in Odupi Sub-county, Terego East Constituency in Terego District.

    Distribution of the items took place during a football final tournament which ended with penalties between Ajivu FC and Raj B FC both from Okavu Parish, Odupi Sub-county.

    Amatria Geofrey, the Organizer of Okavu Parish football tournament, while expressing gratitude to the public for embracing the tournament said, at first he was fearing to organize the tournament because he thought people would not embrace and support it.

    He thanked the Woman MP Hon Obigah Rose for always supporting anything in the community that needs her help and attention.

    Terego District Woman MP Hon Obigah Rose who bought and donated the sports uniforms and offered financial assistance of 500,000 Shs to organizers of the tournament, promised more financial support for the sports sector in the entire Terego District.

    “I thank you the people of Odupi for voting for me as the Woman MP, for voting Hon Saka Wilfred and for voting DLC Councilors Hon Ayikoru Sunday, Hon Vuni”, Hon Rose added in her speech as she rallies for a united Terego District.

    Hon Ayikoru Sunday, the LC5 Vice Chairperson for Terego District who doubles as the female Councilor for Odupi Sub-county to Terego District council expressed gratitude to the organizers of the football match for thinking of such talent identification ventures that can keep the young people busy during holidays.

    Hon Ayikoru Sunday thanked the Woman MP Hon Obigah Rose for her generosity for the people.
