After David Bahati was cheated in the primaries in broad daylight, he made an optimistic and strategic statement that he was going to reflect, make a decision and come back soon to announce his next course of action. As somebody who has watched Bahati from 2006 in our political and public space, we have witnessed and appreciated his contribution and leadership both at the grassroots and national levels. I say it with certainty that Ndorwa West, Kabale District, or Uganda is not yet ready to lose Hon. Bahati’s leadership acumen and unwavering dedication.
Indeed all the indicators on the ground point that Hon. Bahati will continue to campaign for the Ndorwa West County Member of Parliament. It is a strong aspiration of the constituents, too, who are the living testimonies of the selfless service delivery.
Therefore, should Hon. Bahati make a strategic move to continue as our MP, I will certainly support his candidature and also massively mobilize our people to overwhelmingly vote for him. We cannot afford to lose a tried, tested and trusted leader who has consistently put Ndorwa County West on the national, continental and international maps.
Evidently, the following are some of the reasons we should support Hon. Bahati to continue to represent the sunset constituency:
Secondary school per sub-county. All the 8 sub-counties in Ndorwa County West, except two, have secondary schools which have significantly improved education as children can access schools in the nearest neighborhoods.

Health Center III per sub-county and two Health Center IVs. Over 600 mothers are now safely producing at the established health facilities in Ndorwa County West per month. Some ailments that used to take our people to far distances, coupled with transport expenses, are now being handled in the constituency.
Besides health facilities, Hon. Bahati has made sure the constituency has two car ambulances and two boat ambulances. A number of health camps were organized and handled several surgeries and cases including dental, eye, ears and others.

Piped water (28km) from Kitumba to Rubaya sub-counties: Ndorwa County West people have access to clean and safe water, thanks to the commitment of Hon. Bahati for ensuring there is piped water.
Electricity coverage across the constituency: Our People can now engage in small-scale industries like metal fabrication, grain and cereal processing, salons, etc., because of access to power.
Creation of two town councils and four sub-counties: Under the leadership of Hon. Bahati, Ndorwa County West witnessed the establishment of two town councils and four sub-counties thereby bringing urbanization and service delivery closer to the people.
Agriculture support: Every household in the constituency got hoes to support them in agricultural activities.

Every household in Ndorwa County West also got a mosquito net to fight malaria.
The people of Ndorwa County West have so far received over Shs 9bn to support households to transition from subsistence to a money economy.
Hon. David Bahati has built of number of churches that have greatly improved spiritual life, morals in the community and protected family values.
So importantly, Hon. David Bahati initiated and championed laws to save lives and families like the Anti-Homosexuality Law.
Hon. Bahati also championed the mobilization and allocation of over USD$240m to tarmac the Katuna-Muko- Kamuganguzi road.
Owing to the above and very many others, Hon. Bahati remains the best choice for the people of Ndorwa County West and I’ve pledged to support and mobilize for him.
Aluta continua!
