Soroti City erupted in a chorus of jubilation as the perpetrators behind the heart-wrenching assault on 17-year-old Anslem are being brought to book. The merciless tormentors, alongside their employer, are being apprehended and now residing behind the coolers of Soroti Central Police Station.
As the dust settles, two of the four tormentors languish in police custody, facing the full weight of the law. However, the mastermind behind this reprehensible act, Isaac Otai remains at large, fleeing the long arm of justice with one of his accomplices alias name “Oris.”
Yet, the quest for justice for Anslem continues unabated. Activists and the public fervently appeal to the public, urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Isaac and his associate, known by the alias “Oris,” to come forward and aid law enforcement in their pursuit.
The sorrowful ordeal suffered by Anslem sent shockwaves across social media platforms, as he endured torture and public humiliation at the hands of these heartless perpetrators. The disturbing incident, captured on phone camera, showcased the depths of cruelty inflicted upon him by individuals who deemed themselves judge, jury, and executioner over a purported debt of 130,000 Ugandan shillings.
However, amidst the darkness, hope emerges. The community, rallying behind Anslem, refuses to succumb to vigilantism. Instead, they channel their collective strength towards upholding the rule of law. Through collaboration with the Uganda Police Force, they stand united in their resolve to ensure that justice prevails.
As Anslem’s story unfolds, it serves as a testament to the unwavering spirit of a community determined to stand up against tyranny and champion the cause of justice for all.
