The coming of the National Unity Platform (NUP) party President, Robert Kyagulanyi AKA Bobi Wine to Soroti as earlier announced for 6th September has been pushed till further notice.
The postponement was announced by the party mobilizer, George Okoit during a meeting of Teso NUP party delegates held on Friday 1, September at the Party offices in Soroti city.
Okoit said that the alternations came after the program review of the Party president Robert Kyagulanyi’s agenda was made for proper arrangements by the party.
“According to the initial arrangements, Kyagulanyi was expected to be in Mbale and later proceed to Soroti on the same date. We have however made an observation that time couldn’t favor him on the second program in Soroti. Therefore, he will have a full day in Soroti starting with a closed door meeting with the Teso party delegates before joining his supporters on the street,” Okoit said.
