A young man named Eyotre Kennedy, approximately 33 years old, from Etoko village, Nyoroo Parish in Maracha District, who had been in hiding for several months after injuring three people with a panga between 2017 and 2022, murdering one person in 2023, and committing arson on 9-September-2024, has finally been exposed after being caught last night while attempting to steal goats in Odupi Sub-county, Terego East Constituency, Terego District.

Reliable sources confirmed that upon trying to escape, Eyotre Kennedy, who was apprehended in the act of theft last night, engaged in a physical struggle during which he nearly overpowered the goat owner. This prompted the owner to raise an alarm, drawing residents who came to assist, ultimately leading to Eyotre being cut with a panga on his left leg and finger.

With no clear identity known to the residents and security operatives in Odupi Sub-county, where the theft took place, police in Terego District took the injured Eyotre to Omugo Health Centre IV earlier today, Sunday, 17-November-2024.
However, reliable sources indicate that Eyotre concealed his identity from the health workers at Omugo Health Centre IV by giving his name as “Eyotre Moses,” likely to avoid detection by security personnel and concerned stakeholders tracking him in connection with the assault, murder, and arson cases he committed in Nyoroo Parish, Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District, from 2017 to September 2024.
According to records, Eyotre Kennedy escaped from Koboko Prison in May-2024 after being remanded while awaiting the hearing of the murder case he committed in 2023.

At the time of filing this report, the injured Eyotre Kennedy, allegedly using the alias Eyotre Moses on medical records, had been transferred to Arua Regional Referral Hospital for further treatment.
