In a decisive move, NRM chairpersons from Opuk and Adel parishes have joined Kuluabura Parish in endorsing Patrick Ogwang Obura as their sole candidate for the 2026 elections. With this resolution, all three parishes of Minakulu Sub County have united in their support, reflecting a powerful grassroots movement.
The collective push for Obura’s candidacy was not only championed by local leaders but also enthusiastically endorsed by the community. This unity highlights the strong desire among the people for a leader who can deliver tangible results and embody their aspirations.
Patrick Ogwang Obura has embraced this trust wholeheartedly. Amidst the growing support, he has already completed 95% of the community service requests made by local leaders, showcasing his commitment to the people’s needs. His proactive approach has won the hearts of the populace, solidifying his reputation as a dedicated and effective leader.
The same activity of borehole repair also took place at Barrao village in Agulurude Parish, Loro Sub County, further demonstrating Obura’s hands-on approach to addressing community needs. This practical engagement reinforces his image as a leader who not only listens but acts decisively.
While the society wishes for this unified ideology to come to fruition, the crucial decision now rests with the NRM to confirm Obura as the Oyam South flag bearer. The overwhelming local support presents a compelling case for his candidacy.
As the NRM deliberates, the united front of Minakulu Sub County stands as a testament to Obura’s impact and the community’s hope for a brighter future under his leadership
