Juliet Achayo Lodou Ekellot, the distinguished Member of Parliament for Ngora County, has astutely procured iron sheets through the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) and bestowed them upon three primary schools within her constituency.
The beneficiaries of this benevolent endowment are; Atoot Primary School in Atoot sub-county, Ngora Boys Primary School in the town council, and St. Aloysius Demonstration School in the township.
In her address to the press, Achayo conveyed profound gratitude to the Ministry of Teso Affairs for its steadfast support of the educational institutions in Ngora County. She also articulated her deep appreciation to the National Resistance Movement (NRM) government, under the sagacious leadership of H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, for its resolute commitment to prioritizing education and fortifying infrastructural development.
The leadership and headteachers of the recipient schools lauded Achayo for her unparalleled dedication and altruistic spirit. They emphasized the transformative impact of the iron sheets in creating a propitious learning environment and exhorted the community to coalesce in support of this commendable initiative.
“The government and its leaders are in their resolve to ensure that education is accorded the highest priority,” one headteacher proclaimed, urging parents and community members to steadfastly support and encourage their children’s regular school attendance.
