In a vivid dispose of devotion to education, MP Juliet Achayo Lodou has elevated Tiling Gawa Primary School in Kobwin sub-county, Ngora, from grass to grace.
On 5th of May, the school grounds buzzed with excitement as Achayo officially opened a fully-equipped, self-contained teachers’ house—a project born from her vision to enhance educational standards in the region.
The newly inaugurated two-in-one teachers’ house, constructed at a cost exceeding 125 million, stands as hope of progress. It will provide much-needed accommodation for teachers who, for too long, endured grueling commutes or made to do with rudimentary living arrangements.
Achayo, in her address during the commissioning ceremony, urged the school management to leverage the new facility in fostering improved academic outcomes for future generations.
What sets Achayo apart is her steadfast dedication to the education sector.
Beyond erecting teachers’ residences, she has spearheaded initiatives such as classroom construction, salary supplements for educators, and the establishment of Seed schools across Ngora.
Her mantra, “KOCAU NGORA,” resonates with a promise to tirelessly pursue the betterment of her constituency’s educational landscape.
As the sun set, laughter filled the air as Team Hon Achayo, filled with spirited students, faced off against Team Ekellot. In a heartwarming twist, Team Ekellot triumphed 2:0, igniting joyous celebrations.
As the sun sets on the horizon, casting a warm glow over Tiling Gawa Primary School, one thing is abundantly clear: Juliet Achayo Lodou’s transformative efforts are laying the foundation for a brighter tomorrow in Ngora.
