Okello Julius, widely known by his moniker Clever Spider, has officially declared his intention to run for the mayoral position of Kumi in the upcoming 2026 elections. With a robust and expansive ideology, Julius aims to bring transformative change to the district.
Speaking to this website on a phone interview, Mr Okello outlined his manifesto, stating, “As mayor, I will ensure the efficient implementation of policies, programs, and services to make our administration more effective and responsive to the needs of our people. My focus will be on judicious management of public resources and overseeing our municipal staff to guarantee that our local government functions align perfectly with the aspirations of our community.”
He further emphasized, “I am committed to being a proactive representative for our community, advocating for Kumi’s interests at higher levels of government. By spearheading initiatives that promote economic growth, infrastructure development, and social welfare, I aim to significantly enhance the quality of life for all residents.”
Mr Okello also promised to make his move known openly to the public in Kumi as soon as possible, ensuring transparency and engagement with the community.
