Esteemed people of Dakabela, as we bid farewell to 2024 and embark on a new 365-day journey, let us take a moment to reflect on the past year. We’ve experienced the highs and lows of life, losing and finding loved ones, but through it all, your resilience has shone through. Together, we’ve achieved remarkable milestones, deepened our understanding of one another, and fostered a sense of unity.
I’m proud to acknowledge that women, youth, and religious leaders have taken the lead and are the frontliners in our achievements . Their tireless efforts have brought us closer together and inspired positive change.
As we move forward, let us commit to holding ourselves accountable, evaluating individuals based on their actions rather than mere rhetoric and propaganda. It’s crucial to support one another and steer clear of extreme views that could create divisions among friends, family, and the broader community.
Divisive ideologies will not lead us to progress but rather render us subjects of ridicule. As your friend and fellow citizen, I remain optimistic that our greatest achievements lie ahead. Let us work together to build a brighter future, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
