Kotido, Uganda – The headteacher of Nakapelimoru Army Senior Secondary School, Rtd Major Ngobi David has appealed to politicians in Kotido to support the school’s development projects, particularly the construction of a new block to house A-level students in Senior Five and Six.
Major Ngobi made the appeal during the school’s end of year party, which was held at the Travellers Corner Bar and Restaurant in Kotido. The event was attended by staff, a section of students and guests, including headteachers from Kotido ss and Panyangara ss from other schools in the area.
The headteacher explained that the new block is urgently needed to provide a conducive learning environment for the A-level students and help those who drop out of school because Kotido has only one Alevel School. “We are appealing to our politicians in Kotido to support us in this project,” Major Ngobi said. “We need their help to complete the construction of the new block, which will provide a comfortable and secure learning environment for our A-level students.”

Major Ngobi emphasized that the new block will not only provide more classroom space but also improve the overall infrastructure of the school. He expressed his gratitude to the school’s administration and staff for their hard work and dedication to the school’s development.
The highlight of the event was the cutting of the cake, which was done by the headteacher, Major Ngobi, and the guests. The cake was a delicious vanilla flavor, decorated with the school’s colors and logo. The staff and students cheered and clapped as the cake was cut, and everyone enjoyed a slice of the delicious treat.
The event was also marked by music and dance, as the staff and entertained themselves with traditional and modern songs. The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter, as everyone celebrated the end of the academic year.

The headteacher’s appeal was well-received by the guests, who pledged to support the school’s development projects. The politicians present at the event promised to work with the school administration to secure funding for the construction of the new block.

The event was a success, and the school’s staff and students left with a sense of hope and optimism for the future. With the support of the politicians and the community, Nakapelimoru Army Senior Secondary School is poised to continue providing quality education to its students.

As the staff and students departed, they were filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. They had worked hard throughout the year, and their efforts had paid off. The school had achieved excellent results, and the staff had played a crucial role in this success.
