NGORA – ZOE Gospel Truth Ministries in Ngora was a vibrant scene on Sunday as Christians gathered in fellowship and solidarity to fundraise for the completion of their church.
The event turned jubilant when the Ngora County MP, Hon Juliet Achayo Lodou Ekellot, made a remarkable contribution of 60 bags of cement and 2 million shillings towards the construction.
Christians, overwhelmed by the MP’s support, pledged their loyalty, vowing to stand by her in the future. They emphasized that leaders who prioritize God’s work and contribute significantly to the community should be maintained in office, for the betterment of the church and society.
Achayo, who is well-known for her straightforwardness, seized the moment to encourage the congregation to focus on income-generating activities, urging them to elevate their household livelihoods.
This latest gesture is part of Achayo’s long-standing commitment to transforming Ngora. She has tirelessly supported the construction of permanent church structures, replacing grass-thatched buildings across the region.
