A sections of District leaders and elders, Youth and women from ochero county have set a move to front Dr.Elyanu peter as the sole party sole candidate for the National Resistance Movement (NRM) In upcoming 2026 general elections.
The dnt cropped during Elyanu’s consultative meeting and assessment tour, accross the four sub counties in Ochero county.
Those who expressed to the Patriot highlighted absolute support for Dr.Elyanu peter, among them were categories of elders, local leaders, you women from a cross the constituency of Ochero, affirming their appreciation to his committed leadership.
Ontop of me was Ms.Sarah Agaro, the chairperson women league kobulubulu sub county, who expressed their collective decision to back Elyanu for Ochero county.
“ as public, we are grateful to Dr.Elyanu for his role of Mobilizing for the NRM party a cross the grass roots, development and peace building, which other leaders have failed to do”, she mentioned.
Mr.Bazil Atidi the NRM chairperson in kobulubulu sub county affirming his support for Mr. Elianu and president Museveni, currently the electorates’ demand.
Making a declaration, Ms Rebecca Ekolu, the NRM chairperson in Ochero Town council promised to mobilized votes for the president and for Elyanu.
The decision was met with applause from the gathered crowd, signaling a unified and strong backing for Elyanu’s continued leadership.
The NRM Leaders, the youth and women of ochero also issued a formal call for the leaders of Ochero county to stand and publicly endorse Elyanu peter as the sole candidate for the NRM party in the coming 2026 Elections.
