Minakulu, Oyam South — In the second phase of the Ogwang Obura empowerment project ,Catechists in Minakulu have received poultry and feeds , fulfilling a request by local religious leaders to support the community. This initiative is part of a broader effort to uplift and empower the religious and social structures within Oyam South.
The project has also directed its resources towards the construction and support of various religious institutions. This includes St. Michael Church of Uganda in Aboloneno, Eastern Ward, Loro Town Council; Abeibuti Church in Western Ward, Loro Town Council; and St. Daniel Comboni Catholic Chapel in Kamdini. Additionally, uniforms were provided to the choir of Miracle and Healing Church in Kamdini.
The project was further extended to support community associations such as the Kamdini Youth Blockers and Loaders Association and the Kamdini Friends Association, aiming to strengthen community bonds and enhance local welfare.
These efforts have been meticulously executed through Ogwang’s campaign team, led by Mr. Kenneth Ayuku, Jimmy Oriang, Richard Ebong, George Olwii, Tadeo Okeello, Peter Odyek, and coordinator Mr. Alex Okec. Their combined efforts signify a dedicated approach to reinforcing the community’s infrastructure and social fabric, highlighting a continued commitment to development and unity in Oyam South.
