In a shocking turn of events, Soroti City has been rocked by a harrowing incident captured on video, depicting the brutal assault of a 17-year-old boy identified as Anslem. The footage, which has since gone viral, shows Anslem being forcibly taken from a popular chilling spot by a man known as Otai Isaac, commonly referred to as Izo Fashions.

According to reports, Anslem, a staff member at Izo Fashions boutique located in Soroti City Main Market, was allegedly demanded a sum of 130,000 Ugandan Shillings by Isaac. When Anslem failed to meet this demand, he was subjected to a nightmarish ordeal in the wee hours of Sunday.

Witnesses describe how Anslem was taken to Garden Nest Guest House, where Isaac and his accomplices reportedly subjected him to a savage beating and torture. Shockingly, no one intervened to stop the vicious assault, not even the management or security personnel at the chilling spot.

It wasn’t until a concerned relative discovered Anslem, bruised and swollen, that the matter was brought to the attention of the authorities. As of now, Isaac and his associates remain at large, with the police launching a manhunt to bring them to justice.

In response to this heinous act, media activists have mobilized under the hashtag #JusticeForAnslem, calling for swift action and accountability. The community’s outrage and demand for justice reverberate across social media platforms, as people express solidarity with the traumatized teenager and his family.

Anslem’s ordeal serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerability of young individuals in society and the urgent need for stronger measures to protect their rights and safety. As the investigation unfolds, the people of Soroti City unite in their quest for justice, determined to ensure that such acts of brutality are met with the full force of the law.
