Administrators and pupils of Anyomolyec primary school, Otwal sub-county in Oyam District are still in shock following the death of their teacher.
The life less body of Mr Etot Joe was found dead in his bedroom on Friday, 24th November 2023. The body was discovered by his sister inside his room at the Staff quarters
Close persons say they found empty bottles of liquor in his room which also contained fresh patches of vomit with traces of blood.
It is also in report that in the earlier day he was a guest at a graduation party in the neighborhood. Rolex Akena, a brother to the deceased , said that Mr Etot was stopped from drinking due to his health complication.
The Anyomolyec Primary School headteacher says Etot was healthy when he saw him in the afternoon. He further added that Mr Etot was a very committed and lovely teacher.
Innocent Mubangazi, the District Police Commander of Oyam district confirmed the report and stated that his officers visited and secured the scene.
He also added that the body of Etot was taken to Anyeke Health Center IV for postmortem and on Saturday afternoon,the body was handed over to the relatives. The burial of Mr Etot has been scheduled for tomorrow Monday, 27th November, 2023
