Uganda Police force has promoted at least thirteen police officers in to different ranks in Kaberamaido District.
The District police Commander for Kaberamaido SP David Otabong in the ceremony asked the the newly promoted officers to be disciplined and respect citizens while on duty, he noted that President Museveni has promoted the officers into various ranks ranging from that of constable to AiP.
“This promotions come as a result of community recommendation and hard work by individual officer, this has come at the right time”, he said.

“Patriotism is when you do something with the love for your country, putting your country first and doing things for the pride of your country, she reminded them to emulate from President Yoweri Museveni whose heart lies in to serving his good country for the good of its citizens”, she said.
According to the Kaberamaido district chairperson victor Rex’s Ekesu, community policing has tremendously improved hence the dropping rates of criminality, unlike those days where murder cases dominated localities in the district.
