Pakwach District has marked a significant milestone today with the commissioning of ten completed projects from the 2022/2023 financial year. The ceremony, held in a vibrant atmosphere, highlighted the district’s progress in enhancing community infrastructure and services.
Among the commissioned projects are a classroom block at Ocayo Primary School, two newly constructed roads, two boreholes, a fence, and four VIP latrines in various schools and health centres. These projects aim to improve the quality of education, health, and overall living standards in the district.
The event saw the attendance of the district’s Security Team, the Political Team led by the District Chairman, and the Technical Team headed by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). The beneficiaries, who were present in large numbers, expressed their gratitude and support for the district leaders and the government.
Eseru Paul, the Resident District Commissioner, emphasized the district’s dedication to service delivery and community development. He noted that the projects are a testament to the government’s commitment to improving the lives of the people of Pakwach.
Despite the success, three projects were not commissioned due to not meeting the required standards. The district leadership assured the community that these projects would be addressed promptly to meet the expected quality.
The community members passionately expressed their appreciation for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s leadership, attributing the district’s progress to his vision and support. The ceremony concluded with heartfelt cheers of “Long Live Jonam, Long Live HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni,” reflecting the community’s love and respect for their president.
With these new developments, Pakwach District looks forward to continued growth and prosperity, driven by the collective effort of its leaders and citizen
