GWERI – Abel Opolot, a formidable contender for the Gweri County MP seat on the FDC ticket, over the weekened, made a profound impact with the donation of a Canter Truck to the people of Gweri County.
His actions sent waves of enthusiasm through the community, reminiscent of a political tsunami. The amiable and charismatic Opolot commenced the day at Gweri Church of Uganda and later visited Angopet PAG to have the truck blessed, affirming his belief in the proverb: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”
After the blessing, Opolot proceeded to Gweri Subcounty’s Lukiko Hall, where he officially handed over the vehicle to the FDC county leaders.
The community was elated, and the leaders were full of praise for him, recognizing that the pressing transportation needs of the area had finally been addressed.
Each speaker lauded Opolot for embodying the spirit of a true servant leader, emphasizing that his contributions had already begun transforming Gweri County.
