The Legislators of Serere District have teamed up in mobilizing their electorates for government programs using various Sports events across communities.
The union between the Serere Woman Member of Parliament Helen Adoa, also the State Minister in charge Lakes and Fisheries and the Serere County Mp Emmanuel Omoding is aimed at expediting the mobilization easing peoples access to government programs through the mass sensitization.
In Partnership with Voice of Serere a local radio station, the Sports Chariot dubbed “Amagalit” comprises of various unique sports activities ranging from bicycle riding for both men and women, rope pulling among others.
Speaking to this website on Saturday 30th September 2023, the Minister Hellen Adoa said that her Unity with her colleague the Mp Emmanuel Omoding has simplified service delivery to their people of Serere.
“Sports is one of the popular activities that brings together all sorts of people, we have seen it much easy to send the government’s messages of development to the people”.
Adding, “We have fully sensitized masses on the Parish development model as we feel that no one should be left out in this life changing program”.
Emmanuel Omoding the Mp Serere County implored other political leaders to consider Unity as the first priority in fostering development to their subordinates.
“I want to thank the Minister Helen Adoa and Voice of Serere Radio for teaming up with me to change communities, I pledge that this spirit shall continue forever”, he said.
Omoding further revealed that government through the leadership of President Museveni has good programs that if taken seriously, they can deliver the country.

Amagalit sports event took place at Kakuja Primary School in Kyere Sub county and is expected to continue all over the sub counties of Serere County.
John Esadu the LC.3 Chairman Kyere district applauded the two members of parliament for their commitment in delivering services to the people in Serere.
