Soroti, Uganda – As the Muslim community in Uganda and around the world begins the holy month of Ramadan, Calvin Echodu, the NRM flag bearer for Soroti City West, has extended his warmest wishes to the Muslim families.
In a phone interview with this site, Echodu expressed his profound joy and solidarity with the Muslim community, promising to always support them in times of need. “Ramadan Kareem to our dear Muslim brothers and sisters! As we commemorate the revelation of the Quran, I wish you a blessed and peaceful Ramadan,” Echodu said.
Echodu, who is also the opinion poll frontrunner for the Soroti City West parliamentary seat, prayed that the Muslim community experiences a deeper spiritual rejuvenation and a strengthened devotion to their faith during the holy month.
He also pledged to stand by the Muslim community, saying, “As a token of my support and solidarity, I promise to always be there for you in times of need, to the best of my abilities. You are not alone, and I am committed to standing by you.”
The holy month of Ramadan is a period of fasting, reflection, and spiritual growth for Muslims around the world.
