The first Son, also the commander of land forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has finally landed in Teso Sub – region and surprisingly receives a heroic welcome.
The general was received in Bukedea by the Rt. Hon, speaker Annet Anita Among accompanied by dozens of Members of parliament at Kongunga Primary School by 10:00 am on Monday 14th August.
Muhoozi in his communication was thankful to the people of Bukedea for voting the leaders under the ticket of National Resistance Movement and supporting his father President Museveni for peace and stability.

The speaker Annet Anita Among, also the woman legislator for Bukedea district declared her support for the president’s son in the coming elections, she as well called on the people in the region to fully support MK movement for a peaceful power transition in Uganda.
“As the bible says that God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, President Museveni is now aged, this is a time we the Iteso send Muhoozi to presidency for the perfect replacement of his good father President Museveni”, she loudly said.
The General with his tight security convoy led by the State minister for Education in charge sports Peter Ogwang proceeded to Soroti where he was intercepted by the excited residents of Kumi Municipality who were demanded to see his physical appearance.
He later proceeded up to Soroti Stadium to watch the final match of the MK football tournament and cashed the winning teams.
Muhoozi is expected to hold a number of consultative meetings with different groups including the elderly, youth, Teso stake holders and later wind up with addressing the largest crowds at Soroti sports grounds.
