Maracha District.
The Maracha District Principal Internal Auditor, Mr Abiribale T Paul has on Friday 1-November-2024 handed over his office after hitting the mandatory 60 years of age.
Mr Abiribale T Paul who joined public service in 1994 from the ranks of Assistant Officer to an Officer to Senior Officer and to Principal Officer retired as the Principal Internal Auditor for Maracha District has been praised by the Politicians and Technocrats in Maracha District for his 30 years of service in the public service.
Okudroru Antara, wife of the Principal Internal Auditor expressed happiness to the people of Maracha District for being his friends during bad and good times.
The retiring officer, Principal Internal Auditor Abiribale T Paul upon recounting his 30 years experience in the public service, advised technocrats of the district not take their jobs for granted.
Madi Okollo District Engineer Aluonzi Godfrey who was part of the people who bid farewell to the Principal Officer, appreciated the Politicians and Technocrats in Maracha District for unity and cooperation.
He praised the outgoing Maracha District Principal Internal Auditor Abiribale T Paul as a person who changed the face of positive auditing way back from the previous districts he worked under, upto Maracha District.
Maracha District Engineer Ezati Timothy Maluma applauded the Principal Internal Auditor for mentoring him throughout his service life from Arua District to Maracha District.
Mr Olila Patrick, the Chief Administrative Officer for Maracha District thanked the outgoing Principal Internal Auditor Mr Abiribale T Paul for being one of the obedient and loyal public servants he has ever encountered in his life of duty.
The CAO tasked the technocrats in the district to emulate Mr Abiribale T Paul.
He further advised the outgoing Principal Internal Auditor to use the best of his retirement life.
Maracha District LC5 Chairperson Hon Obitre Stephen applauded Mr Abiribale T Paul for exhibiting the core values of a public officer.
While apologizing on behalf of the district for what the Principal Internal Auditor went through during the 1.9 billion shs Kololo Seed Secondary School construction project saga in 2022 which culminated into his interdiction with the 5 other heads of departments in the district, the LC5 Chairperson thanked him for remaining strong throughout the turbulence he underwent.
“Let’s not frustrate people who are serving us and the country”, Hon Obitre added in his conclusion remarks.
Maracha District Deputy RDC Koliba Monica Kotevu praised the outgoing officer for his work for humanity.She advised Abiribale T Paul to be impactful in the society during his retirement life.
