The East Kyoga Territorial Police have arrested and detained two suspects in relation to the reported disappearance of an Egyptian National in Soroti City.
According to the East Kyoga spokesman Oscar Greggory Ageca, the two suspects identified as Mr. Mohammad Abdil Ali who visited the victim and was last seen with him a night before his disappearance and and one Mr. Kisolo Mark who was an employee and had also visited the victim’s residence on the night before and after his disappearance shall help police in their investigations.
Ahmed Zinhom Ibrahim Selim, aged 32 Egyptian National was last seen at his residence on the evening of February 23, 2024, in the company of two friends, only one Identified as Muhammed Nabil Ali, also an Egyptian according to a police statement.
The Soroti West Division Police in East Kyoga Region launched investigations.
Ageca speaking, “preliminary findings suggest that on Saturday, February 24, 2024, a one Kisolo Mark, an employee of the victim visited Selim’s residence however, he found the door padlocked, and the key placed next to the window, upon entering and there was no sign of Selim.”
The Soroti West Division Police are urging anyone with information about Ahmed Zinhom Ibrahim Selim’s whereabouts to disclose to them immediately.
